At SAKATA EMEA, we ensure that we gather, store and handle data fairly, transparently and with respect towards individual rights. European Sakata Holdings (hereinafter referred to as “Sakata”) is committed to doing business based on honesty, integrity and fairness in all aspects of its activities. More precisely, the respect of data privacy of all our internal and external stakeholders (including our customers, suppliers, employees and partners) is a key driver of our internal policies. Sakata therefore commits to international standards of good practice in collecting, storing and processing individual personal data.
This update explains, in short, all you should know about how we collect and process personal data at Sakata and how you can keep full control of your own private data.
EXCLUSIVELY FOR SAKATA CUSTOMERS, SUPPLIERS, GROWERS & PARTNERS
SAKATA EMEA has adopted a pure B2B business model within the European Union since its creation in 1996 and is therefore not doing any direct business with individuals as such. As a rule, Sakata does not do any specific direct marketing campaigns. Those specific marketing campaigns and all of our events are exclusively managed on external tools such as Mailchimp or direct social media channels where customers and prospects directly subscribe (opt in / consent automatically, managed online by the tool supplier).
As we are not dealing with the consumer market in the EU, we do not track or exchange any personal data relating to any end consumer.
